The CL.AM stationery stand in all it’s glory
On 5-8th March we had the pleasure of taking part in the wedding weekender extravaganza of all things W-Day related that is A Most Curious Wedding Fair.Taking place at the Truman Brewery over 3 days, it was definitely the biggest and in it’s own words, most ‘style-savvy’ wedding fair we’ve exhibited at thus far. With it’s own catwalk shows, selfie wall, and even a spot of BBC3 filming going down over the wedding weekender, there was never a dull moment!
As well as showcasing our own newly updated fashion inspired wedding stationery, and meeting a wealth of lovely brides and grooms’ to be, we were totally blown away by the awe inspiring talent of our fellow stall-holders. From wedding styling, florals and couture cakes, to exquisite made-to-order gowns, here’s what we managed to spy when we got a minute to explore……
Fellow lovers of all things tropical HEY. style hire, couldn’t be more on our level with their amazing collection of carefully sourced props, styling and made to order signs. Can we get married again tiki style in Hawaii pleeeeeease!!
Another wedding stylist who made us swoon with her use of ombre. succulents, dip-dye and macrame was the wonderful Carrie Southall Design Absolutely love the geo napkin holder too!
Having worked as stylist and designer for T.V, press and magazines for many years, fellow South Londoner Carrie has great space making down to a tee- We wish our entire flat looked like this!
There were so many stunning fresh floral displays of wonder at the Fair, but we were totally fooled by Friend of Faux‘s beautiful frothy arch…what do you mean it’s not real? Absolutely stunning, far less wasteful and economical than fresh blooms, and with no fear of withering and drooping during the day..what a fab idea!
All we needed now was a crown fit for a queen from the awesome selection from Rock N Roll Bride for Crown and Glory..if glitter encrusted bows, tiaras and ker-pow florals are your bag ( and if they’re not, frankly why not?!) If only we had the guts to go lilac as well..maybe one day!
Finally we managed to squeeze in time for a quick pose on the amazing hand-painted Palm Springs themed selfie wall by the ladies of Lamplighter London …..
and a delicious mini Curious themed cupcake from super bakers The Bluebell Kitchen; which gave us a much needed sugar hit, and we were spent….we’ll definitely be at the next one! Next up on the finale on the wedding fair circuit we’re at The National Vintage Wedding Fair in Manchester, hope to see you there 🙂
